Merging ‘80s pop sensibilities with modern-day electronic music production skills and a punk attitude, her debut EP OUT OF NOWHERE blends the lushness of SoCal soft rock and the catchiness of synthpop songwriting with a unique voice that has something to say. After several years of playing guitar and drums with a variety of underground metal, indie and punk bands, the Croatian born/Germany based, self-taught multi-instrumentalist geared up for the release of her self-produced first single “Wanna Know Why” in late 2018. With each new single following every few months, she has garnered the attention of indie music blogs and electronic music producers alike, leading up to her well-received 2020 collaboration with Swedish synthwave legend Don Dellpiero, “Never Ending Summer”. Her recent collaboration with German electronic producers L.A. Streethawk, "Letting You Down", exclusively appeared on the Kiez Beats 10th anniversary label compilation, released in April 2021. With “Show You Things” and “This Town”, OUT OF NOWHERE features two standout singles that have already proven BADISONs wide range from upbeat expressiveness to melancholic introspection, all carefully crafted into flawless pop-anthems that stick to the ear. Be it her belligerent declaration of independence on the spurring opener “You Not Me”, the heartfelt yearning of her breakout ballad “Our Love” or her effortless channeling of Bruce Hornsby on “bday”, each song showcases impressive facets of a versatile singer/songwriter. But it is her very perspective on the world and what living in it means, her well-observed and pointed lyrics as well as her memorable vocal performance that elevates her EP debut from a calling card to an artistic statement.
